Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is for the passenger side of your vehicle, and the nice thing about this is that it is a custom fit, so you shouldn't have to worry about any kind of cutting or splicing or drilling, no modifications to your vehicle at all, it's just going to give you exactly what you had before. So if your housing got cracked from being on a narrow street and somebody clipped your mirror, or maybe you're going into a parking garage and it happened to bust the mirror face or the outside housing, this is going to be a great way to replace that and not lose anything as far as functionality.So let's jump in and look at some of the specs and features of this particular mirror. It does work for several Lexus models, including the 2004 through 2006 Lexus RX330, as well as the 2007 through 2009 Lexus RX350, and the 2006 to 2008 Lexus RX400H. So any of those vehicles this will work with very well, and it does have the hardware to attach this to your Lexus. So it's just going to these three bolts here that just tighten in with a Phillips head screwdriver, and then you'll have your wiring connection to makes you still get that powered function.

This will also have the heated glass and memory function as well. Something to keep in mind, though, if you didn't already have those features in your vehicle, this isn't going to upgrade you, it's just going to give you back what you already had. You'd have to have that wiring in your vehicle to be able to utilize it, so just something to keep in mind there.The housing is made out of a durable plastic. You can paint this to match with the rest of your vehicle. You can see here there's a seam for this to fold in against the mirror, so it does have that breakaway function.

So if you want to make it a little bit narrower, again, if you're parking on a narrow street, one way, or going into a parking garage, you can fold that in and minimize the chance of it getting broken again.Should be pretty simple to get this installed, you just take the old one off, put this new guy on there, and should be good to go.
